Description
Within the Tax Operations team, you will participate to the issuance of the yearly US tax reporting towards the IRS and toward the clients.
Besides the daily business, you will participate in projects and procedure updates.
You like challenges and focus on delivering steady quality in your daily work and the adherence to all procedures and control functions, minimizing the risk exposure to RBC Dexia and its clients
Your responsibilities
Execute the custodial reconciliation between the different actors of the market (clients, sub-custodians, IRS tax account...)
- Determine and apply appropriate tax rate on US revenues.
- Management of US tax documentation at clients and sub-custodian level.
- Support audit preparedness planning and execution.
- Gather and communicate IRS regulations changes.
- Ensure tax compliance.
- Management of US tax related queries.
- Responsible to build and maintain external relationships, were applicable.
Profile
- Sound experience in US withholding taxes management and preferably good knowledge of the fund industry.
- Highly responsible with good analytical skills, self-organized with the ability to manage complex tasks in a timely manner and take initiatives.
- Teamwork oriented.
- Good PC skills (with specific expertise in Excel Access )
- Fluency in English is a requirement; other languages are an asset (e.g. French, German).
