About our client
An independent lower mid market firm, now investing its third fund, with a very strong record of realisations and distributions.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with senior colleagues across the investment cycle and the firm will commit the resources necessary for your rounded development as an investor
You will be involved in detailed analysis of new investments, both financially and commercially and will coordinate external due diligence providers as appropriate
You will support the execution / closing of new deals and work with colleagues and management teams actively in portfolio management through to exit

Skills we’re looking for

A strong record of academic achievement, balanced by success in your professional career to date
Very good modeling skills; extensive LBO modeling experience is not essential but you must be able to demonstrate excellent Excel skills and show you can master LBO models quickly
In a small team environment, fit is vital and our client is looking for assured, team players who are willing to learn and will contribute to the balance of the group. You should expect to commit to a long term career
Our client especially favours accounting backgrounds, but will consider other professional experience as well, from recent graduate level to several years / senior associate level
You must have fluent English and German language, though need not be a native German speaker; additional Dutch language skills are interesting
