Wells Fargo Consumer Lending Mortgage Finance is seeking to hire an Analytics Consultant 4. The Analytics Consultant 4 role will function as a Customer Management Pricing Analyst. The Customer Management Pricing Analyst will be responsible for leading pricing and customer retention strategy for Wells Fargo's ~$115B Home Equity portfolio. Particular focus will be on working closely with marketing, risk management, and other key stakeholders to refine Home Equity's approach and use price as a lever to mitigate customer attrition, drive account utilization and optimize portfolio profitability. The position includes the following key roles and responsibilities: Pricing Development: Develop pricing for the following pricing treatments: - End of Draw, rate modification, Fixed Rate Advance (FRA), subordination, line increases and rewrites. - Drive inter-group collaboration with Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations and other key partners to develop strategies that help to maximize our value proposition and differentiators. - Create strong business cases in support of strategies to gain agreement from Senior Leaders and Stakeholders. Pricing Implementation: - Develop pricing strategies and implementation plans which cover business processes/policies as well as systems considerations. - Communicate to senior business leaders on details of strategy and provide analytical support. - Establish clear success criteria and monitor performance versus the criteria. Ensure thorough and appropriate controls for implementation. Rate Sheet Administration: - Manage weekly rate sheet updates. - Ensure that all pricing changes are made with a high level of accuracy and control. Business Performance Analysis: - Establish clear success criteria and monitor performance versus criteria. - Track and analyze business performance metrics such as Return on Asset, Net Interest Margin, and Price/Volume tradeoffs on a monthly basis. - Report observations/issues and provide recommendations to senior business leaders. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 4+ years directly applicable work experience. Minimum Qualifications: - Advanced PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel and proven quantitative ability with Excel spreadsheet modeling. - Good written communication skills. - Good PowerPoint presentation skills. - Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through. Preferred Skills: - 4-year college degree in Economics, Finance, Business or related experience. - Knowledge of Home Equity.
