Position Description:
PIMCO is a global investment solutions provider with more than 1,700 dedicated professionals in 11 countries focused on a single mission: to manage risks and deliver returns for our clients. As part of that mission we develop applications for internal use to help us value securities and manage risk. We need outstanding software developers to help us deliver dynamic and timely solutions. We are looking for a skilled software engineer to work with our Analytics group and develop and manage the delivery of their analytics libraries through our various pre-trade and post-trade analysis platforms.
Position Requirements:
Essential Qualifications
• 3 years c++ programming experience.
• Understanding of fixed income math.
• Excellent understanding of object oriented programming concepts.
• Experience at a sell-side financial institution, developing software related to fixed income analytics libraries.
• Working experience in xml schema, parsing and data binding
• Working experience with multi-tier technologies.
• Linux platform experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
