Anti-Bribery & Corruption Manager

Market leading Wealth Manager seeks a senior Anti-Corruption Policy specialist to oversee the implementation of a Global ABC policy framework, covering multiple business lines. The Wealth Division comprises one of several business lines with a major Banking Group. There is strong internal support across the Group to adopt high Financial Crime standards.

The Role:

To provide the team with subject matter expertise and leadership in the field of ABC. The nature of their business and scope of the coverage places ABC at the heart of their Financial Crime programme, and the successful candidate will need thorough knowledge of UK and FCPA regulation.

The main responsibilities include:
1. To provide oversight and management of the ABC programme, leading the development of internal controls in relation to existing and upstream ABC regulation
2. Assurance – to ensure that the relevant ABC policies are being correctly and effectively implemented across the region, with due consideration to Group policy and local regulatory standards
3. To lead investigations into suspicious third party relationships
4. To conduct an annual risk assessment for the bank’s ABC exposure
.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a strong grounding in ABC, from either a Financial Crime Compliance background or from an ABC related position within another industry (legal sector, pharmaceuticals, commodities trading)
