Anti-Bribery & Corruption Officer / Investment Banking recruitment

Our client, a Global Financial Institution is looking for an Anti-Bribery Corruption Officer to provide advice and guidance on the firm’s Anti-Bribery Corruption policies to all business divisions. The individual would help in identifying and mitigating risks across the business and promote a proactive regulatory culture.

Duties Include:

Responsible for coordinating the assessment of bribery risk and developing the assurance framework.

Collating management information to be presented to the Risk and Control Committee.

Develop and implement anti-bribery corruption programme to ensure compliance with group policy standard, UK and overseas regulatory requirements.

Conduct annual risk assessment which identifies the internal and external bribery and corruption risks.

Develop and maintain policies, procedures and controls to mitigate risks identified.

Develop training material to be delivered across the business divisions to ensure that staff comply with anti-bribery corruption policies.

Establish and implement an effective monitoring programme across all risk factors.

Support the business in its management of bribery risk.

Primary point of contact for all business divisions and overseas anti-bribery corruption officers to ensure consistency of approach.

When required, report any issues to the FSA, the Serious Fraud Office or national regulators outside the UK.

Lead or assist in any ad hoc projects when necessary.

The preferred candidate will ideally have an investment banking background and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the UK Bribery Act and US FCPA requirements. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
