Anti-Fraud & AML Manager – UAE recruitment
Key responsibilities of the role include:
-Responsibility for developing, implementing and validating fraud risk strategies to reduce losses across all business lines.
-Ensuring that the bank meets its regulatory obligations for identifying and reporting suspicious activities
-A responsibility for helping reduce the probability of the bank being used for the Laundering of illegal monies, the financing of terrorist activities and the breaching of international sanctions.
-Establishing appropriate controls in the lending process and control validation with regular vigilance.
-Developing and implement monitoring of customer accounts for money laundering and terrorist financing activities.
-Develop and implement a training program to all bank staff covering money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud.
-Review anti-money laundering policies and procedures and ensure that all suspicious transactions identified are properly investigated and reported.
The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of aml/ ctf and relevant UN, EU, OFAC etc. sanctions processes and procedures accompanied with a minimum of 5 years experience within a top tier bank. UAE experience is desired but not essential.
