Join the Northrop Grumman Information Systems team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a Technical Subcontracts / Third Party Support Manager to join our AOC WS program in Carson, CA.

The Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System (WS) is the Joint Forces Air Component Commander's (JFACC) primary Command and Control (C2) node to develop the air and space operations strategies and plans to meet the Combat Commander's objectives. It is the senior element of the Theater Air Control System (TACS) which includes subordinate ground and air C2 units trained and equipped to plan, coordinate, control, execute and monitor air, space and cyberspace operations across the full range of military operations. The AOC controls a wide range of air power to achieve Air Force objectives of Global Vigilance, Global Reach and Global Power.

Modern war fighting demands a modern, standardized and integrated AOC. As a member of the Northrop Grumman AOC team, you will help to provide our warfighters with a state-of-the-art, net-centric computing solution that provides a flexible and robust environment for meeting the demands of time critical analysis and decision making processes now and into the future.

The Technical Subcontracts / Third Party Support Manager :

Interfaces with the subcontracts administration team as the program focal point.

Serves as the liaison with the cost management team and program control account managers regarding subcontract, documentation, and process integration with the prime contract.

Serves as the program coordinator for all Intercompany Work Orders (IWOs).

Serves as the program coordinator for all third party agreements and coordination

Maintains subcontractor SOWs, agreements, coordination activities, and overall assignments.

Supports the program operations team in process excellence and division/sector taskers.

Contributes to program execution framework artifacts with emphasis on third parties, subcontracts, and IWOs

Coordinates with data management, scheduling, business management and functional managers regarding third parties, subcontracts, and IWOs

Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills

Projects a friendly, positive attitude and works cooperatively in a multi-faceted environment; exhibits an ability and desire to self-educate

Basic Qualifications:

BS/BA degree or commensurate experience (will consider 5 years of additional experience acceptable in lieu of degree)

Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Must have previous management or supervisory experience.

Strong planning and organization background and the ability to work with a multi functional team

Must have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance of secret or above.

CMMI / Six Sigma process experience

Ability to comprehend and interpret policies and procedures and provide

mentoring and guidance to staff to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large programs involving multiple subcontractors

Possesses a thorough understanding of subcontracting best practices, business processes, and project management

Demonstrated experience in process improvement for Government programs
