QA Manager Job in Los Angeles 90017, California US
This position requires ability to be directly involved with the testing of the release and a strong desire to be hands-on and knowledge of the product. Prior experience leading qa-automation teams for the websites and enterprise level software products is required. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
•Manage, grow and mentor a team of Quality Assurance Engineers (onsite and remote)
•Lead the QA Team on developing test strategies and plans that cover various product areas.
•Excellent project management and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
•Verifying and qualifying all the deliverables from the QA-teams. Be the catalyst to drive action items to ensure that quality levels are met or exceeded.
•Help create a QA Automation roadmap, execute and deliver robust automation test suites
•Present to all levels of management the status of the release using quality assurance metrics
•Continuously improve on existing QA processes and QA infrastructure to increase team's productivity and overall quality of the product.
QUALIFICATIONS
•5 +Years of progressive software quality engineering experience in internet and enterprise software, leading test automation and test framework development.
•Strong test automation background with java, REST/SOAP web services and Selenium tools
•3+ Years’ experience of Quality Engineering management
•Strong leadership skills will be required, managerial experience a plus
•Ability to assess risk and come up with mitigation plans
•Ability to schedule tasks and develop timeframes for deliverables
•Experience and strong understanding of Development Lifecycle
•Self-motivated
•Attention to detail, highly technical and hands-on
•Team player
•Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
•Excellent verbal and written skills
