Application Developer (RAD Developer) recruitment
The candidate will be part of the Asia ITEC/CTT (Client Trading Technologies) department which is composed of around 50 people dedicated to deliver high quality IT solutions to Front Office business lines in the Asia Pacific region. The team is mainly based in Hong Kong with few people in Tokyo.
Within that department, the successful candidate will be dedicated to the Rapid Application Development team, involve in developing and maintaining a wide range of in-house software solutions, spanning from workflow management and pre-trade analysis, to risk management, position management and Front-end Trading Tools.
Your Role:
Involved in the design and implementation of a series of Front office Applications
• Study new business/IT requests, gather requirements from end users and write specifications
• Design and implement the required functionalities
• Participates and follows-up all phases (from design to production release) of the project
After the successful delivery of above project, the candidate will also be offered opportunities to further extend his (or her) scope to manage other Front Office applications in the bank, in charge of:
- Deliver quality software by going through the QA validation process
- Monitor our production systems to anticipate any potential issues
- Be proactive by proposing enhancements from which the business/IT can benefit (performance or functional improvement)
- Handle level 3 support
Your Profile:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably IT specialization
Technical environment:
- Windows 2000/XP
- Linux
Programming languages:
- Strong knowledge in C# and JAVA (2+ years)
- Rational Database (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL)
- Unix shell scripting is a plus
Spoken languages:
- English
- French is a plus
Functional knowledge:
- Good knowledge on Agile Methodology
- Project Management Skill
- Good knowledge on Equity or Equity derivatives business is a plus
