Introduction: Montash Associates have been exclusively retained by a Tier One Investment Bank who are looking for an Application Developer to lead on an exciting greenfield project within Prime Brokerage.
The Organisation: This firm has been one of the strongest investment banks over the past few years. This bank is embarking on a period of increased growth and are looking for an experienced and talented Application Developer.
The Team: This individual will be leading a team working on an exciting greenfield project within the Prime Brokerage team. This individual will have architectural capabilities with be expected to be involved almost entirely in hands on development work.
The Skills:
• Strong Java, Hibernate, JBoss and Swing are all essential
• Strong knowledge of J2EE, Spring, JMS and XML
• Good knowledge of Web Sphere MQ and Tibco EMS
• Good knowledge of Sybase and ANSI SQL or Transact SQL
• Experience with Oracle Database
• Object oriented design and programming
• Knowledge of Prime Brokerage,Stock Lending or similar is essential
• Strong experience working in a software development or support capacity in time critical financial markets
The Package: This bank is looking to attract the best candidate from their competitors to work on these exciting projects, as a result they won’t be beaten on total comp. A base of up to £120,000 plus a very strong discretionary bonus mean that only the best need apply.
