Application Development Manager (Director) recruitment
Overview
This role is a Director Level position working as a Global Application Development Manager responsible for a team of 10 Direct reports with many more indirect reports within a matrix structure.
The role will encompass skills including; people management, program management, financial management, strategic, tactical and operational solution provision, client interaction, and risk management.
The successful candidate will be tasked with managing a broad portfolio of applications both in terms of supporting existing applications and delivering on new projects.
In addition to the above, you will also have to manage departmental relationships (including clients, business and operational partners) and ultimately be the bridge between the Senior Technologists and the Business partners.
Experience/Knowledge
- Significant IT experience, including leadership responsibilities of a large, complex, global or regional enterprise supporting multiple lines of business.
- Previous experience leading large regional or global teams within a matrix structure with responsibility for infrastructure and application development.
- Experience working on strategy development and successful execution of that strategy.
- Proven leader who has delivered technology solutions in a high-volume transaction environment
- Experience working within a Large Volume Cash Transaction processing environment.
- Experience working within Trade Treasury Department.
- Currently working at SVP or Director Level for a Tier 1/2 Investment Bank.
