Reporting to the IT Development and Support Manager, you will manage the team responsible for a portfolio of business critical applications. This includes production support, BAU enhancements and contributing to key IT projects, as well as daily operational management of systems from problem, change, security, risk, and financial management to operational KPIs.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Senior experience in commercial IT environment with demonstrated exposure in a leadership role within an operations function or in financial service organisation
- Experience in Project methodologies and the System Development Life Cycle
- Experience in the support of the technical environments and development in collaboration with external vendors
- Experience in the planning and execution of Disaster recovery tests
- Understanding of ITIL best practice
- In depth understanding of IT application management and a broad knowledge of IT industry technologies and products
- Negotiation Influence Skills and the Ability to make informed decisions
