Application engineer freelance - IT sector Flanders - long term Are you a freelance or are you interested to begin a freelance career?

Are you experience on DVB standard and its extension?

Huxley Associates is looking for a Field Application Engineer in order to fulfil a mission of at least 6 months in the IT sector in Flanders.

As Broadcast Field Application Engineer you are supporting the certification process.

Your tasks:

- You analyze and reproduce the issues found by the certification Lab and help making them reproduced by the developers outside the Certification Lab.
- You validate the solutions and verify they do not introduce regressions.
- You have and maintain a broad technical knowledge on DVB standard and its extensions.
- You Interact with the development teams to understand how the broadcast system works/behaves
- You can interpret the test results and identify errors/defects encountered.
- You are passionate on the product and like to explain how it works and why it works like that.

Your profile:

- Highly interested and good knowledge of validation and test methodology, relevant test tools
- Highly self-motivated
- Strongly result-driven, able to work independently
- Teambased, and highly flexible
- Good command of English
- Basic DVB PSI/SI knowledge is required
- Experience testing PVR products is considered as an advantage
- CI(plus), EPG, MHP or MHEG do not sound unfamiliar to you
- Experience testing DVBT(2), DVB-C, DVB-S(2) enabled products
- Experience in editing/analyzing transport streams on SI level
- Basic RF knowledge
- Willing to work abroad for short periods
