Application Engineer (Boise, ID / Fishkill, NY / Albany, NY / Malta, NY)


Job Requirements:

BA or higher in one of the following disciplines:  Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Material science. Experience in wafer fabrication and defect control is preferred. Experience in SEM or defect review, or defect inspection tool is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills in English, bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision, strong analytic and data analysis skills. Natural curiosity, inventiveness, and an interest in making things work better. 


Job description:

Responsible for application support at customer sites for the use of state of art e-beam defect inspection tools in the semiconductor fabrication industry, includes

-          Development and optimization of recipe for defect inspection, defect classification, auto-review, analysis of the results, generation of reports on the results, management of job queue.

-          On-site customer training on the use of HMI’s the state of art e-beam inspection tools.

-          Maintenance activities such as daily monitoring, system diagnosis as required, regular tool calibrations and PMs.
