Description:
Volt is seeking an experienced Application Engineer for a client located in Fresno, CA. As an Application Engineer your duties will include design and engineering for projects with computers, PLC's, communication networks, motor control, instrumentation and electrical systems. Will provide instrument/electrical plot plans, PIDs, elevation view drawing for PLCs, MCCs and termination cabinets. Will need to have a strong understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and conduit wire schedules. Will be developing PLC logic and configuring HMI software to meet control systems specifications. This is a direct placement opportunity available immediately! Requirements:
Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field along with 5 or more years of experience. 10 or more years of experience may suffice in place of degree. Must have a strong understanding of PLCs, motor control, and HMI. Previous experience in design drafting utilizing AutoCAD or equivalent.
