Under general direction, independently the Senior Application Engineer/Engineering Analyst provides all analysis, coordination and control for the processing of engineered motor control center orders. This includes analyzing order specifications, drawings, and terms and conditions, resolving and documenting exceptions and questions, instructing and coordinating mechanical and electrical drafting work, generating of bills of material, purchasing special equipment, coordinating activities during manufacturing, assembly, and test, making changes and revisions, and managing the commercial aspects of the order.

To provide technical and engineering support to Rockwell Automation Field Sales Offices for Motor Control Centers and related equipment.


B.S. Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.

3 years of related experience.

Autocad, Autocad electrical, or Pro-E experience.

Good understanding and experience using and interpreting the National Electric Code.

A background in engineering discipline with strong technical knowledge and experience.

Good Commercial Skills, communication skills, and organizational skills are required.

Work requires mental concentration and visual acuity to utilize computer terminals up to 50% of the work time.

Work will also require some travel to customer’s office or job sites.
