Software Tester Job in Cork
My Client, an innovative technology company is looking to recruit a highly motivated Software Tester for a six month contract.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, having an understanding and practical experience of the following:
Responsibilities and requirements
* Review requirements and design documentation
* Create and maintain functional test scripts
* Executing Integration, System and Regression tests
* Experience in web/Java based technologies environments
* Ability to multi-task and test various applications necessary for a release
* Understanding of various communication modes e.g. WiFi, 3G, Ethernet
* Ability to analyse test results and identify problems
* Document all defects found in bug tracking tools and assist progress to resolution
* A track record of successful project completion working in a team environment
* Third level Degree in Computer Science or similar
* Quality results orientated
* Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
* English: Fluent
Desirable
* Experience working with Linux
* Experience of Agile process
* Experience writing scripts in any or all of the following: Selenium, StormTest, Perl, Python, SQL, SlamD
