APPLICATION INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

The Application Infrastructure Engineer's role is responsible for providing senior-level leadership for the design, development and advanced investigation of complex application infrastructure solutions for Home Lending Originations, covering current and future systems and applications. This role is expected to coordinate technology efforts, Troubleshot complex application infrastructure issues and to lead matrix-ed teams of technologists to deliver infrastructure initiatives. The following will be functions of this role: Provide oversight leadership on application infrastructure solutions for HL Originations technology delivery Responsible for HL originations application portfolios Firm Wide Deployments dependencies. Work with TSPS, GTI and RTS to ensure tech services roadmaps are planned for with the dev space and appropriate facilities/testing and signoffs take place at the developer level. Work with Risk and Engineering boards to ensure all bank/department standards are being adhered to within the HL originations portfolio Provide technical oversight on application infrastructure architecture standards Ensure adherence to commonly accepted architecture principles (extensibility, security, reliability, scalability, etc.) Coordinate Technical Services involvement in technology solution identification processes Provide technical review-level function for system architecture design and direction, including leading design reviews with other technology SMEs as needed Independently perform and direct complex solution delivery tasks, working closely with TSPS, RTS and GTI leadership Provide guidance and leadership to engineers, application administrators and/or dbas for the troubleshooting of various environments built on SUN, Wintel and AIX platforms, leveraging Desktop, Network and Server technologies like XP, Internet Explorer, Firewalls, Routers, Load Balancers, Apache, WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle, etc?
