Application Management Analyst – Financials recruitment

In this role you will act as a subject matter expert in one or more Applications within the Applications Management (AM) Team and will assist AM Analysts and Applications end-users with their issues and requests for application assistance. Essential to high performance in the role is functional and technical analysis, problem resolution for applications and related reporting systems. These applications you will be required to assess can be either packaged and/or developed in house.  You will identify opportunities for service improvements within Applications and AM activities, and your excellent problem/project management will ensure stakeholders and both kept informed of activity and delighted by results.

You are ideally degree qualified along with relevant Tertiary degree qualification and will demonstrate significant previous experience in applications support, development or a relevant enterprise applications environment.  You will have a good understanding of financial transactional processes and principles, the ITIL process, enterprise applications and ideally BMC Remedy application. You will possess strong written and oral communications skills, have a high attention to detail, excellent customer service and the ability to solve problems and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

In this role we are particularly looking for candidates with knowledge of financial processes and concepts, experience with SQL Server, SSAS, and ETL tools is desirable. Experience with Informatica ETL would be highly regarded.
