Support Analyst / Application Support - Futures Options - AVP
I am currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to sit within my banking clients’ Futures and Options team. The candidate will be responsible for 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support of Futures Options Applications, with the team looking after trading order management applications; both front end GUIs and server side processes. Their main trading application is third party application called TT and ULLink with connectivity to derivative exchange and to the internal algo stack. This is a follow the sun environment.
The candidate will work closely with front office Futures and Options business in London and will interact with Tradeplant teams in AMRS and APAC to drive operational consistency across the globe. There is a follow the sun support model. The candidate will interface with the integration team for new application on-boarding and with internal IT teams (development and infrastructure) to ensure application stability and reliability. Needs to be hands-on and be able to perform within a busy and pressurised environment.
Candidates will be required to have the following knowledge:
- Front Office FO Support experience; ability to display that candidate can multitask and perform in a time pressured environment
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd line application support
- In depth knowledge on exchange connectivity and market rules
- In depth knowledge in Futures Options products
- Experienced in UNIX and Windows environment.
- Basic SQL skills
It will be highly beficial for candidates to have:
- ULlink experience
- Windows/Linux Scripting
