Application Support Associate – Investment Bank [Ref: P711-Application Support Associate (KM)] recruitment

The bank is a leader in structured products business. Risk management is a strategic part of this business, and you will therefore play a key role in the support of this complex and challenging activity. You will on a daily basis be in contact with traders and other front-office and ITEC teams in charge of supporting this activity. You will also have to develop a sound knowledge of business constraints, structured products and exotic information system.

Your Role:

  1. For failed batches for which a first level support procedure can hardly be put in place, and when applicative expertise is then required, proceed to the analysis, and then the relaunch
  2. Provide a daily feedback to clients with the analysis of encountered technical and functional errors
  3. Identify and escalate to development team of applicative bugs. Follow-up until their release in production
  4. Test and secure exotic production after applicative releases
  1. Steer performances optimization in regards of pricing time, daily batches availability time, etc
  2. Identify possible improvements in batches organization, monitoring tools, etc., and lead their implementation
  3. Write a procedure for every task for which it can be easily done, transfer the task execution to first level support
