APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and functional support to clients, prospects vendors for a client-server .NET/SQL software application
- Log and monitor support requests in tracking system
- Escalate unresolved support requests to appropriate resources
- Provide software installations, upgrades and training to clients as required
- Configure system settings and options
- Work with development resources to identify and test bug fixes
- Escalate non-support-related requests to Client Account Managers
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- SQL Server database administration and T-SQL skills, including:
- Functions, Stored Procedures, and Advanced Query Writing
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Detail Orientation, Strong Work Ethic, Team Player
- Experience with or knowledge of XML/XPath/XSLT technologies a plus
Educational Requirements:
- A 4-year degree in a business /or technology-related discipline from an accredited university.
Experience Requirements:
- Previous technical / system analyst role with a strong track record and background in the above technologies.
