LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, TN, has an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Engineer in our Business Technology Department. We are seeking a candidate with experience managing the deployment, support, and maintenance of multiple business software applications.
Your application software experience will make a significant and rewarding contribution in supporting and managing our critical business applications. You will perform all phases of the systems life cycle, including scope; requirements; planning; design; development; testing; and implementation. Training will also be provided to allow you to further develop your programming skills.
Skills/experience:
- 2 years experience in supporting and maintaining business applications and third party software packages
- Some experience with programming languages, such as SQL; PL/SQL; Java; Visual Basic, desired
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- BS Degree in a technology discipline
- Good communications skills
- Team interaction and collaborative skills
Preferred skills/experience:
- Warehouse Management Systems experience
