A well-motivated and career driven individual is required to join the London based team for one of the world's leading financial software providers. My client is looking to build out their application support team, working with clients first hand and supporting their award winning platform.
The application support analyst will be supporting and monitoring the trade platform, dealing with issues coming through form traders and technical teams. As the application support analyst, you will be working in a Linux / UNIX environment using technologies such as commanding and scripting languages - Shell, Bash, Perl. As well as Oracle databases and SQL.

To be considered for the role of - Application Support, Front Office, Trade Support, Derivatives Trade Support, SQL, UNIX, Linux, Finance, London - you must have skills and experience in the following:
* A good technical understanding including UNIX, Linux and SQL is essential
* The ability to understand and use shell scripting would be highly desirable
* Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
* Experience using trading platforms and management systems such as Fidessa, Orc, UiLink, GL
* Understanding of financial markets, exposure to asset classes
