Application Support Team Leader (Fixed Income) recruitment
City Based Investment Bank seek an Application Support Team Leader for their Fixed Income Sales and Research (Cross Assets) Team. You will be managing a small team on shore with 30 odd Application Support Analyst off shore. Technical wise it is SQL (writing queries from scratch), Shell Scripting and Perl / Python on UNIX / Linux (Command Line). Good knowledge of electronic financial markets. Connectivity and pub/sub understanding desirable. A degree-level education (or equivalent) in IT, computer science or a related discipline is vital, as is ITIL knowledge and experience of working in controlled production environments. We’ll also be looking for solid programming experience, especially in writing and maintaining configuration and deployment scripts in languages such as PERL or Shell. Effective end-to-end configuration management skills are also essential, coupled with experience of run-book execution. Experience with real-time pricing risk systems would be an advantage
