Application Support/ Technical Business Analyst

Our client one of the UK’s leading Asset Management organisations is looking for a Technical Business Analyst/ Application Support Specialist within the Equity / Research business.

This role is a combination of technical support and enhancements for a number of VBA and MS Access Management Information applications. This role is combined with a Business Analyst role with focus on working with the business.

The focus of the role is to establish a structure around the applications, ensuring they are documented, supportable and fit for purpose to enable ownership to move to the Production Services team.

This role requires a high level of customer interaction and as such requires a confident individual who can effectively liaise with users at a wide range of levels.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

VB scripting, SQL querying and Office XP/2007 knowledge would be a distinct advantage.

Given the nature of the role you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work face-to-face with senior management and stakeholders and therefore excellent presentation and communications skills are key.
