Application Support (Unix, Windows, SQL) – Asset Management recruitment
A leading Asset Management Organisation is currently seeking an Application Support Analyst to join it’s Technology group. The team provides support to various Investment and Trading Divisions in all areas of the investment process with a heavy emphasis in dealing with the business from a technical perspective.
Responsibilities include:
Managing any technical issues with all applications in the project cycle as well as resolving and managing incidents and problems.
Support real time low-latency trading environment.
Support the Trade Order Management systems
Build tools and utilities to automate data quality checks
System monitoring
Ability to liaise with multiple technology groups
Skills:
Experience of working in an Application Support position within Finance
Solid understanding of Unix and Windows operating systems
Experience in scripting languages
Ideally an understanding of Infrastructure components (Network protocols TCP/FTP).
Experience of using SQL with the ability to do basic queries
