Head of Compliance recruitment
The Head of Compliance is responsible for executing the compliance program for the in-country insurance operations covering life, general and takaful businesses. You will work with the respective lines of business to ensure that business is conducted in compliance with the applicable laws, regulations and compliance policies. Leading the Compliance function here in Malaysia your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with business and entity management in managing regulatory reporting obligations
- Maintaining a broad knowledge of the businesses and the regulatory framework in which it operates
- Developing relationships with the respective lines of business and entity management as well as support functions to keep abreast of current business developments and regulatory issues that may impact the risk environment of the firm
- Providing compliance training as necessary
- Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures
- Providing advice on compliance policies
- Participating in new product reviews
