Applications Engineer and Client Advisor
Role Synopsis At Baker Hughes, the purpose of this job is to consult and advise with sales, customers and potential customers on products and services as they pertain to their organization. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Advise sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues that affect the installation or sales of products and/or services of the organization. Provide support to operations and manufacturing across multiple product lines. May assist sales personnel in the preparation of bids. Meet with customers to develop and design products and services. May train customers and/or field personnel on new products. Handle special projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 5+ years relevant experience in Operations/Engineer environment. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Broad, in-depth, specialized knowledge and seasoned experience in area of responsibility. PP and frac stimulation background is a must. Ability to solve substantially difficult problems of complex nature and broad scope. Technical expertise. Ability to create innovative approaches to problems.
