Description:
- This position will be to act as a developer in the team, taking responsibility for individual deliveries to the Razor Post Trade and STP Stream but also liaising with QA and Support teams.
- Competencies should be related to the responsibilities, experience and skills in the Job Description. e.g.
- Display a high level of technical competence and expertise both locally within the Trade Capture Lifecycle team and in the wider Risk Services world. Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and be recognised as someone able to solve complicated problems using appropriate technology and techniques. Inspire this behaviour in others.
- Working alongside Singapore and London based developers to deliver the future state architectural direction of the Trade Capture Lifecycle platform
- Liaising with the user community, in order to deliver solutions to complex problems in relation to the Trade Capture and Lifecycle business processes.
- Developing a collaborative relationship with the Singapore development team
- Representing the development team to the user community (Sales, Trading and Middle Office) where required.

- .NET 3.5/4.0 and C#
- MS Workflow Foundation
- WPF and WCF (and SOA, Restful services)
- Enterprise messaging(e.g.Tib EMS, Business Works)
- Sybase, SQL Server and XML/FPML
- Design Patterns for UI and solving OO problems

This role will have some interaction with the business user community front to back, i.e. Sales, Traders, Middle Office and Operations (Docs and Settlements) , as well as working closely with other technology teams globally such as Data Fabric, Batch team and Reference Data services. Therefore, a good understanding of finance and basics of derivatives in particular in terms of the Trade Lifecycle would be preferred. Analysis skills to gather functional requirements would also be required. Similar experience within a front-end system on trade booking and/or lifecycle management and trading blotters would be a big plus. Previous experience of front-office businesses in the financial industry is essential.
