If you are an APS5 Project Officer and immediately available for contract opportunities a Central Government Department require your expertise on a short term basis. The position has become available due to an increase in project work and further assistance is required to ensure the schemes are delivered to capacity.
With a sound background in developing, coordinating and reviewing of government initiatives you will effectively contribute to the desired outcomes of several important Government projects. Good working knowledge and understanding of project management principles and practises within Prince2 methodology is desirable. furthermore, there is a strong IT focus to the section, therefore technical expertise will be highly regarded.
Along with undertaking project duties, this role will require you to provide assistance in policy; hence good research and writing skills will be beneficial.
This section has a strong customer focus therefore demonstrated stakeholder engagement abilities will foster strong working partnerships. On a daily basis you will communicate with internal and external stakeholders from various Government Departments and contracted organisations.
