As an Architect you will serve as a liaison between project resources charged with doing the business analysis and with the development teams who design and implement the solution in order to define and ensure the successful delivery of systems supporting J.P. Morgan Chase's mobile customer. This position requires a strong background in software architecture and the realization of business priorities upon software systems through system design and software development. The ability to communicate effectively is critical since will work closely with groups inside and outside the broader technology team as you define the architecture of the consequent system. You will also be responsible for working with LOB personnel as needed to realize business goals. You will provide reference implementations of software solutions to development and may be asked to troubleshoot and refine implementations during the development cycle. RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with project personnel to develop and define strategic goals, roadmaps to achieve those goals, and success criteria to confirm goals have been met. Definition of the software architecture via various mechanisms (including presentations, documents, standards selection, vendor selection and reference software implementations) Working with technology team to realize solutions to project requirements and review designs and test plans/results to confirm that goals are met Working with technology team to articulate roadmap progress and coordinate with other team members to make decisions regarding solution constraints or directions Complete development assignments on time with an appropriate level of quality to support project efforts. Participate in a mobile technology project from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycle Create work estimates based on technology concepts and requirements documentation.
