As a result, we are in currently searching for a very experienced Civil Engineer to be a part of the senior management owners team and join as Area Manager, to assist with leading and managing the EPCM for a large coal project’s associated infrastructure in Queensland. This is a key role and we require extensive exposure liaising between multiple partners and strong project management experience.You will be responsible for ensuring project requirements are adhered to in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders; monitor contractor performance and monitor of project plans, schedules and budgets. With a background as a client representative, you will also have overseen the complete project delivery of a variety of mine infrastructure facilities and done so in a timely and safe manner.
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:-
- Civil engineering degree
- Background overseeing the project delivery of new mine infrastructure
- Strong project management background
- Background as client representative or owners team
- Stable employment background with long term tenure
- Experience running projects in Australia
