Arrears Management and Collections
The Team
Specifically, this role is accountable for the management of collection activities relating to Business debts, Arrears Management and Asset Finance Collections in the Business and Private Banking Portfolio and to manage all reporting requirements associated with this role.
The Role
Apply approved risk management frameworks in the management of the CRS portfolio to achieve the optimum outcome for the Group. The role is responsible for the management and collection of business debts in the Business and Private Banking portfolio in a timely manner to minimise potential losses.
Main Duties
- Provide customer service to the LBB Centres and other relevant internal staff as well as relevant external providers by roll modelling the Group's sales service standards
- Influence desired business outcomes with the internal and external customers in line with Risk Management and sales and service standards
- Aim to achieve excellence in internal and external customer/client service
- Request feedback on service standards via the Group's Internal Customer Survey Measurement (ICSM) tool
- Identify Unsecured Small Business Debts from various reports and implement collection processes for these accounts in terms of group guidelines
- Outsource unrecovered Unsecured Small Business Debts to Debt Collection Agency on behalf of both CRS and LBB and manage related accounting and reporting requirements
- Maintain various information systems on a timely/accurate basis
- Contribute to the development of collection tools and processes to optimise results.
- Assist with the management of Arrears Management reports and Asset Finance Collections as required
Experience Required
- Cost effective actions in collecting debts
- Solid communication and negotiation skills
- Effective organisation and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Completion of the CommSee course - Introduction
