Summary:

The Artist/Animator (A/A) develops basic digital graphics and animations in support of CAPdL.  **This position is contingent upon Task Order award and Funding**.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Collaborates with the Senior A/A to establish and create project style sheets and interface designs.

·         Designs and develops simple 2D graphics and animations based on storyboard descriptions and style sheet guidelines.

·         Coordinates with cross-functional teams throughout project life cycles to resolve issues effectively and efficiently while ensuring high quality.

·         Other duties as assigned to meet business/operational needs.

 

Supervision:  This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

The A/A has an undergraduate degree in graphics design or other relevant field and has mastered core applications such as Flash MX, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.  

 

Computer Skills: 

Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including:  MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Outlook and SharePoint.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  N/A

 

Clearance:   At minimum, a single scope background investigation will be conducted.

The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

 

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.  Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
