Description
This position is responsible for driving and managing the development of new products and enhancements across the Americas business specifically within the US Financial Institutional market segment. The primary focus and responsibilities are revenue growth, pricing, profitability, and product strategy and development.
- Act as the strategy and product subject matter expert for the segment, both internally and externally.
- Drive product requirements for client initiatives within the assigned market. Ability to identify and interpret marketplace trends. Responsible for helping to maximize profitability within key target markets.
- Provide BNY Mellon senior management with the necessary information to leverage market opportunities and make strategic business decisions.
- Ensure communication and cooperation across the various market teams to provide an awareness of the different market needs and ensure that the products developed are applicable across those markets.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years' direct experience working within an Asset Manager back office and middle office or as a consultant to asset managers.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA is a plus.
Strong knowledge of asset management middle and back office processes. - Good knowledge of asset manager data management challenges and solutions.
- Good understanding of various investment structures used by asset managers.
- Experience bringing new products from conception to market launch.
- Experience with Capital Markets /Trading is a plus.
