Title/Proposed Grade:Asia Pacific Credit Analyst Department:Asia Pacific Regional Investment OfficeReports to:Regional Head of Credit 

Principal Accountabilities of Position:

1.Conduct fundamental research, provide timely analysis of new corporate credits and other credit products (e.g., project financing), and perform analysis on existing holdings;

2.Build and maintain relationships with broker/dealers, and directly with issue if possible, to source proper credit assets for the portfolio;

3.Actively monitor the portfolio credit exposure and complete timely periodic credit reviews;

4.Assist in developing new asset classes as needed to enhance portfolio risk adjusted returns;

5.Support in other investment-related issues, such as impairments reviews, quarterly portfolio reviews, business plan assumptions, etc.

Competencies: (list competencies in order of importance)

1.At least 5-7 years of proven credit or investment analysis experience; Strong grounding in economics and financials statement analysis. Deal sourcing capability a plus.

2.High degree of analytical orientation, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail; excellent research and analysis, decision making and problem solving skills

3.Strong teamwork-driven attitude and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization;

4.Strong accounting and financial analysis skills and knowledge of/experience in financial models and quantitative analysis;

5.Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English;

6.Knowledge of current events/trends impacting business issues (i.e., macro-economics, socio-political, industry, etc.). 

7.Experience in determining relative value, as well as equity valuation, helpful

8.MBA and / or CFA desirable.
