Asia Pacific Rates Strategist | VP-SVP | Tier-1 Investment Bank |Singapore
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Strategist, to join one of the world's most exciting and innovative investment banks in the world. They are currently expanding their Asia based team and look for exceptional macro-researchers with a keen eye to pick out trade ideas.
They have a current requirement to take on a Senior candidate to expand their focus on the Asia Pacific markets; to liaise with Fund Managers, the sales team and clients to further improve the companies' market position and global brand.
Key Responsibilities
-Produce thematic reports on the Rates markets for Emerging Asian countries based on advanced market analytics, economic modelling and understanding the broad politial environment
-Work closely with other Strategits throughout the firm to enhance the Asia-Pacific Investment Process and communicate the teams views to internal and external clients
-Design and assist in the implementation of quantitative analytics that map the Rates markets of the region
-Produce monthly and quarterly forecasts notes for investors outlining the firms future opportunities
Candidate Requirements
-University Educated within a highly numerate field from a Top Tier School. Candidates with Post-Graduate studies in Research will be given preference
-A minimum of 5 years experience within a Research role, with at least 6 covering Macro research of FX, Fixed Income or Exchange Rates in the Asian markets
-A demonstrated excellence in incepting and delivering high calibre research reports
-A developed understanding of both qualitative and quantitative analytics
-Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English
