ASRS Engineer
Hours: 37.5
Salary: £30000 - £40000 + 5% company bonus
Are you an experienced engineer looking for a new challenge with a stable and reputable Banbury based employee?
This role requires someone who is happy working at heights, within a chilled environment and a flexible approach in their availability to work due to weekend shifts.
The Role:
- To develop, implement and support hardware / software solutions for ASRS projects.
- Supporting the sales teams with the estimation and concept of solutions prior to quotation.
- Providing a complete controls design solution including, electrical and software design and commissioning within cost and time scale constraints of a material-handling project, whilst ensuring the solution meets the requirements of the project.
- Promote consistent standards and continuous improvement within the team.
- To provide 24hr x 7 day x 52 week emergency support cover as part of a pre agreed rota.
Knowledge Skills
· Hands on experience working within an automated warehouse environment covering electrical controls design and commissioning
· HNC / HND or equivalent qualification
· Previous use of CAD tools
· A working understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals drawings
· Good understanding of distributed control systems
· Advanced understanding of PLC and PC equipment
· Working knowledge of FEM and BS standards governing the automated warehouse industry
