Assembler Job in Eden Prairie 55344, Minnesota US
Eaton Corporation in Eden Prairie, MN has an immediate opening for a 3rd shift Assembler.
The primary responsibilities for the position are:
1. Work from drawings or specifications to assemble units composed of component parts.
2. Use routing sheets, operating instructions and surface appearance templates to ensure proper assembly of parts.
3. Adjust, fit, and align units to close tolerances and inspection standards.
4. Perform filing or sanding of parts as needed.
5. Perform visual inspection of unit during the assembly process and at completion of the assembled unit.
6. Perform minor rework on rejected units.
7. Perform routine cell housekeeping operations.
8. Train new assemblers.
9. Perform other duties as required.
10. Model the Eaton ethical conduct policy, the Eaton Values and Philosophy, and comply with all other corporate, plant, and regulatory policies and regulations as applicable.
11. Support plant lean, safety, quality and continuous improvement efforts.
Attributes of a successful Assembler include:
1. Use of simple arithmetic, drawings, specifications, and simple measuring instruments.
2. Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and/or blueprints to assemble parts.
1. High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited school
2. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles will be considered for this position.
3. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
