ASSET AVAILABILITY LEADER

The primary role of this assignment is to coordinate efforts to ensure the availability of area equipment in order to meet production goals. This needs to be done in a proactive way that leaves the “system” move robust than before, optimizing value creation and minimizing the changes of recurrences. This role is also responsible for the coordination of cross functional groups in execution of shut downs, start-ups and overhauls. This individual is expected to take initiative in implementing improvements to create the most long term value for the site.

• Organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, integrity and relationship management skills.
• Ability to understand people, process, and equipment components of issues/problems.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in short timeframes.
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to drive systemic problem solving processes with cross functional groups. Systemic or root cause thinking must be demonstrated.
• Experience with computer and production reporting systems
Required Education, Experience Skills:
• B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Polymer/Textile Engineering)
• Minimum one year technology experience with process manufacturing
Preferred Education Skills:
• Five or more years technology experience with process manufacturing
• Strong root cause analysis skills
