Asset Finance Advisor

My client is a leading corporate and retail bank. Due to increased deal flow they are looking to add an exceptional Asset Finance advisor to their team.

This role will support the delivery of the Asset Finance products directly to customers and through the UK network.  The key focus is the development of the portfolio through increased product penetration of the existing customer base, as well as a focused business development programme aimed at new markets and customers.

The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be the as well as the following.

To manage, develop and achieve new business targets / Asset Finance portfolio, including volume and margin management.
Responsibility to assist allocated Branches achieve Asset Finance lending targets.
Develop a full working knowledge of the Asset Finance product – to include documentation, policy and procedures.
Gain the ability to negotiate and quote on all types of Hire Purchase agreements.
Play a key role in the reinvigoration of the Asset Finance business to achieve increased market penetration and revenue streams.
Ongoing liaison with allocated portfolio of clients and Branches to ensure retention of clients.  
Plan weekly / monthly / quarterly call pattern.

Develop quality business from existing clients, together with potential new clients; cross selling products, where appropriate.

Display the highest standards of professionalism in the areas of Sales, Customer Service, Credit Delivery, Compliance Risk Management. Instigate appropriate credit line facilities with large multi-hirers.  Review as required, in accordance with Branch management and diary of renewals.
Provide recommendations, where required, in support of credit lines and individual deal applications.

Ensure company procedures and policy relating to underwriting criteria is fully complied with and assistance given to appropriate Branch to ensure all account opening requirements completed prior to drawdown. Asset Unit in ensuring high customer service levels are maintained, at all times.
Report to Area Sales Manager re sales activity and business development.
Assist with arrears cases / collections as and when required by Asset Finance Unit.
Responsibility for leading and coaching Branch personnel on the Asset Finance product(s) to maximise sales/product opportunities via Branch CSP’s / Training programmes.

Manage key relationships within Branch personnel and external clients
