This premier bank as a very strong capital base to supports its growth in the region. It is looking to recruit a dynamic Senior Asset Manager – VP / SVP level.
Reporting to the Head of Special Asset Management, you will pro-actively develop strategies for handling Corporate Institutional classified assets in order to maximize returns through reduction of problem assets and the recovery of charged off loans. You will coordinate with internal external legal counsel in dealing with classified accounts to ensure implementation of best legal strategies, and form pro-actively participate in Steering Committees of Creditors to increase the bank’s influence over the outcome of restructuring/settlement plans/solutions. You will identify cross functional policy procedures that contribute or may cause non-performing assets assist their rectification in coordination with the relevant departments, in order to reduce possibility of future losses. You will meet clients, other creditors, consultants as required for managing the special asset accounts.
Degree qualified, you will have about 10-15 years of experience in credit risk, recovery and credit restructuring in at least one economic downturn/cycle. You will exhibit commercial approach to resolution of problem accounts, familiar with relevant laws, rules regulations, and possess strong negotiation and influencing skills.
