The scope of the ALM function includes Liquidity Risk Management, management of market risks (including interest rate risk), funding and capital planning, profit planning and growth projection, balance sheet management and trading risk management. We are looking for people with these skills to join our growing team.

Responsibilities across the roles include but not limited to:
- Understand the different markets where ALM Portfolio Management operates and the different asset classes (i.e. covered bonds; senior unsecured; ABS).
- Monitor the capital implications of the ALM function (mainly LAB, credit and interest rate management). Propose and analyze potential transaction to improve the efficiency of the capital consumption.
- To support the Liquidity management capital team with analysis of capital implications in potential liquidity transactions.
- Scrutinise Fixed Income markets, oversee current proposals and provide regular insights and unique arbitrage opportunities.
- Develop inter year Income Management techniques through selective hedging of interest rate exposures.
- Manage and develop modelling in Excel for identification and quantification of structural and basis risk.
- Manage different sub-portfolios within ALM, including asset selection, trade execution, hedge execution and rebalance of positions.
- Question and challenge re-pricing gaps to ensure accurate interest rate risk assessment of the balance sheet.
