Managing Director - Asset Manager Brand Executive

Responsibilities:Reporting to the Head of WSS Investor Services, the Asset Manager Global Brand Executive will be responsible for shaping and defining the WSS global asset manager strategy across multiple markets and geographies. He/she will partner with WSS Product, Markets and Platform organizations to refine existing service capabilities, open up new pools of business and build new markets.

Key responsibilities are as follows:Understand client buying behaviorProvide regular thought leadership materials and white papers.Determine define segment and sub segment strategy from client's perspective - translate this into what WSS should be doing to support existing and future client needsMonitor competitor activities/issues impacting segment's existing business or future opportunities, proposing any mitigating or commercial development where necessary
Proactively set segment, and hence service, strategy including product bundle(s) and standard service integration offerings leveraging the capabilities of the whole firmBuild and present business cases to product companies for service enhancements and improvements - drive appropriate investment initiatives

Qualifications
Recognized thought leader with expert understanding of the asset management industry and industry trendsDeep understanding and knowledge of regulatory change and its impact on asset manager segment/marketAbility to create a vision and establish stakeholder buy-inStrong influencing skills and the ability to inspire diverse functional groups around a common goalAbility to present confidently to both internal and external audiencesStrong global perspective with extensive experience working with clients and business partners located outside the United StatesExcellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and communicate the strategic visionAbility to think outside of the box with the vision, energy and practical execution skills to define the business strategy and deliver accordingly
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects/work streams simultaneouslyAbility to develop product strategy and go-to-market programs to support solution launches, defining and developing new solutions offeringsDemonstrated strong leadership in client experience, product expertise, development of appropriate solutions, and ability to identify and take advantage of trends and opportunitiesAbility to work effectively in a matrixed environment
Graduate degree (or similar experience) preferred
