Asset Management Director- TMT

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior figurehead to come on board and help establish and develop the firm’s asset management capabilities and meet strategic board objectives.  This is a hybrid role between strategy, finance and operational issues surrounding the assets under ownership by the client.

This is a unique opportunity within a large international organisation which is experiencing significant growth within the TMT sector. The remit of the Team is to monitor and acquire and evaluate assets in EMEA region.

This position will be accountable for establishing and developing the firm's policy for asset development strategy and long term asset management plan ensuring it adheres to the company’s corporate philosophy. You will be the main sponsor for all capital investment schemes arising from the long term asset management plan. This role reports directly to the Senior VP of Financial Operations.

Please note this role is within the TMT sector and hence prior experience within this sector is a pre-requisite.

The successful candidate should have an in depth working knowledge of both operational and strategic asset Management practices and techniques. You should have a minimum of six years experience and a demonstrable track record of developing complex asset Management strategies. You will take into account a wide range of influencing factors and consolidating diverse information into a coherent strategy and implementation plan.

You should hold a finance related Degree and be qualified in asset Management or similar. You should ideally have strong techniques in risk assessment and risk management and posses a high level of commercial acumen. You should have an understanding of issues that  include improving operating efficiency, drivers that affect revenue and identification of new opportunities for commercial growth as well as regulatory requirements and balancing investment decisions based on risk. You should also have previous experience in a similar position within the telecoms, media or technology sectors.

Preference will be given to Arabic speaking candidates.
