We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to oversee the Charities aspect of our client's business. Our client is a pre-eminent global asset manager in the City of London.
The firm's charities investment services are designed to provide comprehensive and customised support to the full range of the voluntary sector. The marketing specialist acts as the face of the company to the charity sector. Responsibilities include:
-Managing the marketing budget and strategy for maximum efficacy
-Event organisation
-External conference attendance
-PR
-Production of literature
-Production of advertising
-Regular marketing emails/updates
-Management and maintenance of the charities website and contact database
The successful marketing specialist will be:
-A strong communicator
-With the ability to work within a team environment
-Highly organised
-Experienced in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
-Strongly numerate
-Able to demonstrate a creative eye
-Proactive
The marketing specialist role needs creative flair, and graphic design experience would be a help. The role involves a considerable amount of computer based marketing work, so computer literacy is essential.
This marketing specialist is the ideal opportunity to build relationships with members of the charity team, other members of the events and marketing teams and various other internal stakeholders including compliance, the creative design studio and external providers of marketing opportunities in all their forms.
