About the team
Training Development provides learning development consultancy support to over 1,300 employees across Investment Management, EMEA. Located in London, the team is committed to working in partnership with the business to deliver solutions that increase knowledge and enhance performance.
Responsibilities
The candidate will report to the Head of Training Development for Investment Management, EMEA and be responsible for designing, developing and delivering the internal sales and product training curriculum. Their primary role will be to understand training needs, translating these into quality solutions, identifying best delivery and ensuring external vendors are aligned to business priorities and channel-specific requirements.

Partner closely with Country Heads and key senior sales managers to understand business objectives and identify training needs
- Collaborate with business partners and work alongside subject matter experts at all levels of the business to ensure delivery of accurate and timely content
- Coordinate and facilitate all sales training solutions. Identify external consultants to support the design and facilitation of the programme, as required, and manage vendor relationships.

Function as a coach and provide ongoing sales skill development support

Introduce and promote innovative and leading-edge learning solutions

Develop tools to evaluate and measure impact and enhanced performance

Leverage ideas and best practice across sales teams and facilitate knowledge sharing forums

Ensure that all activities add full value to the business and are a driver of ongoing business growth and career development for the sales teams
Experience Attributes
- Relevant bachelors degree required; Masters degree strongly preferred
- Must have sales, sales training or financial product training experience with a background in delivering instructor-led and web-based training
- Strong sales knowledge and skills (i.e. sales development skills, client relationship expertise, pitching, prospecting, pipeline management, etc.). Experience coaching sales professionals.
- Advanced-level knowledge and understanding of the financial services sector. The candidate should come from a financial/professional services background and hold, or be working towards, the CFA or CAIA qualification.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong programme management skills. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a demanding environment while remaining flexible, organised and proactive.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Willingness to work both independently and with a team
- High level of energy and enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong PC skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel and experience in developing online learning solutions
- Fluency in other languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish) would be beneficial
- Flexibility with travel and work schedule as required by business demands
