Capella Capital is a financial advisory and structuring firm set up in partnership with Lend Lease Corporation. We specialise in the development, funding and ownership of infrastructure assets predominantly in the social (PPP) sector.
We have an opportunity for a part time Asset Manager/ Contract Administrator (initially three days per week) to manage the ongoing operational and administrative requirements for a recently executed Public Private Partnership transaction. The role will require the successful applicant to manage the finance and contract administration elements of the asset through the construction phase and into operations. Over time, the role may become responsible for the management of new projects as investments are made.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder liaison (including government, equity investors and building and maintenance contractors)
- Make payments to key contractors, suppliers and financiers
- Manage all invoices for the project
- Manage the preparation of all financial accounts
- Manage all reports including monthly, quarterly, semi annual and annual reports
- Organise and administer quarterly board meetings
- Manage all communication with financiers
- Distribute all key reports to stakeholders
- Organise the required insurance cover for the project
- Manage the annual account audit process
- Organise the submission of annual tax returns
- Submit monthly Business Activity Statements
- Record all project company transactions
- Administer the contracts associated with the project
- Document procedures associated with the role
- Develop a good understanding of the company policies procedures to support the business
Proven experience in a similar role is essential, ideally supported by an accounting or bookkeeping qualification. Your ability to understand financial models legal contracts, manage auditors, tax and legal advisors and work flexibly depending on demand and delivery deadlines will also be key.
